***DEATHWATCH WILL BE A CHARGEABLE SERVICE!!!***

...As of April 1st 2009 DEATHWATCH & Co. will officially become a chargeable service. The subscription fee will be $9.99 monthly or $80.00 for one year. Now of course everyone will not like this and thats understandable...for those who feel that the service is not worth paying for, I urge to stop using the blog and do your own analysis. Members who have not paid the subscription fee by said date will be removed from the invited readers list.

...In regards to the board seats, my honest opinion is that it may have been a little much for the majority of the members at this stage and thats understandable. So I've made the decision to no longer offer board seats, the current board members are not HYIP investors, they are "serious" investors that I've known for years. The offering of stakes may have been a little too complicated, I sincerely apologize if there was any confusion.

Thanks so much for your support with this transition.

***DEATHWATCH & Co. only accepts Liberty Reserve, our account # is U0762500***

  1. Disappointing. Your insight was refreshing. But I understand business is business, and you've decided to make this a business. Good luck!

  2. ...if anything be disappointed in yourself, you're so willing to give money to HYIP's but you won't invest in what it takes to make yourself successful. I am an avid trader in the stock market and I have to pay money for analysis to make better trades, it's just a part of investing. Time to grow up friend.

  3. You're absolutely right, it is part of investing. But just like investments, analysts must be open to analysis. You haven't been around long enough (in this venue) to have a track record.

First off, I'm not "so willing" to give money to HYIP's (particularly ones accepting only LR).

The main differences, as I see it, between your service and a stock analysis service are a)I can confirm the source of stock analysis looking at the history of that particular entity's success, and (somewhat less importantly) b)I can pay for stock analysis with a credit card or other verifiable form of payment. Liberty Reserve? Are you kidding? That alone is enough to keep me away (my choice, not necessarily that of other investors).

I'm by no means saying you have nothing to offer, in fact I appreciate what you do - but you've only existed for a few months - perhaps if I had been given time to have proof that your "picks" have any merit, I would be more willing to pay for the service.

Feel free to delete this comment if you like from the blog and continue this discussion by e-mail. I'll understand if it disappears.

  4. ...delete it for what? How do you know how long I have been around?, The BLOG has been around since January...I have been around for over a decade(in this venue) so step lightly with your assumptions as to my "track record"...it should show you enough that the majority of the HYIP's I've listed have expired within 28.7 days of being listed...when multitudes of people thought they would last much longer...

THIS IS NOT AN HYIP, IT IS A SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE. I accept Liberty Reserve because its convenient and its widely used not to mention the subscription fee is minute, what sense would it make for me to accept bank wires for $9.99 or $80.00, it would be counterproductive...

Do you really think that the form of payment with a BLOG is that monumental? It seems that you're applying your analysis towards the wrong entity and success can be FAKED, especially with stock picking services do you think i have never subscribed to a stock picking service and been duped? A monkey could pick 100 stocks and one of them is bound to go up..so much for that theory huh??(By the way I bought shares of PRU this morning, market soared, I own BAC too)

I don't have to prove anything to you...I know what my abilities are and what I'm capable of...as I said..if its not worth paying for...move on.

Lastly, no one's forcing you to be here...if you think its useless...leave.

Why would I delete you when you've practically deleted yourself?

  5. No need to get hostile. You told me to "grow up" in one comment, and that "I've deleted myself" in another. You've made your point, if a bit more defensively than I expected. But just a few comments so I can hammer home mine, as I think you misunderstood me -

    1. By "in this venue" I meant the blog, which is the only hard evidence you've been here at all (unless you've had another website of which I'm unaware). It would just as easy for me to say I've had 20 years experience in the forex market. If I present you with no proof, you'd be a fool to believe me. Would you pay me $10/month for my buy/sell signals based on my stated experience?

    2. Picking failures in HYIPs is easy. They all fail eventually. And yes, your "kill average" is impressive. What I was talking about when I referred to a track record was your picks. I never said your blog was useless. In fact, I was one of the first to defend it when you started. I would just like to have seen a few months of successful picks in your "portfolio" before I paid for it. That's all.

You have every right to charge for your service. The internet is a capitalist society, no matter where you live. When you've built up more of a reputation (on line), I will be happy to pay for it, as I do not think it "useless". Good luck to you. I hope to hear of your success in other forums.

  6. ..trust me this is not hostile by any means. And you are correct in saying that it is just as easy for you to say that you've had 20 years of experience, but thats what separates me from a lot of people. I'm not a liar and don't believe in wasting other peoples time. If I hadn't been around as long as I have, I would have no problem saying it, I'm a big advocate of integrity. I have never lied...and I won't start now. I think you may be too skeptical for your own good. Believe it or not, everybodys not out to get you.

And I'm not picking failures...I'm picking WHEN they fail and thats were you seem to be confused.

My reputation is in tact, you assume a lot because you don't know anything about me, regardless if you come back and join later...does it matter...you're still joining,

TH, I think you're an intelligent guy, but I think you're grouping me with HYIP Admins, you just may be a little too defensive...I do want you to remain a member...I don't expect all of my members to agree with my actions, but it saddens me that your opinion of me is so low...

  7. I'm with TH, a little too soon to charge money and a little hostile which I'm not impressed by.

  8. DW,

I wouldn't call my opinion of you "low". The problem is there isn't enough data for me to have an opinion, positive or negative, of you or your skill at all. Paying for your service would be an "investment". Not an HYIP, I never thought that, but an investment potentially affecting my financial decisions. And like any investment (real ones, that is - I'm not talking about HYIPs), if I don't have enough data to decide if it is good or not, I don't invest - yet. I would just have liked more time to decide if your service is worth the money (even at such a low fee). That is my point.

  9. oh most definitely and I can understand that fully and thats why in the third line of this post I said "everybody won't like this" one thing I learned a long time ago is that its impossible to make everyone happy. Some will stay...some will leave...some will always feel like its too early...and its never enough. Its just a part of the game and as I said it was expected and I'm not being hostile, I just stand up for myself. You get back what you throw out...
